1. Pakistan has faced the worst flood situation during Aug - Sep 2010. Punjab Rangers came up voluntarily, played an effective role to help the affected people and forwarded its first consignment of relief goods worth rupees over ten million to Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa in first week of Aug 2010. The process is continuing and 4 to 6 trucks of rations and other house hold items per week are being despatched to flood affected areas of Punjab in addition to establishment of free medical camps and provision of medicines worth millions of rupees.

2. In addition to provision of relief goods and medical services, it was considered that a rehabilitation process be started to ease the flood affectees to start their routine life. Punjab Rangers made an attempt and constructed 9 x houses at Muzaffargarh in a short span of time of 10 x days and handed over these houses to the flood affectees a day prior to the Eid Ul Fitar and set a role model for the others to follow and rehabilitate the flood affectees.

3. Punjab Rangers in addition to its own contribution in the shape of provision of relief goods, medical services and construction of houses welcomes the philanthropists to contribute in this field.
